Father’s Day Menu

Here's the thing.  Overfiftyers are free in so many ways.  Free to stay home every night if they want to, and free to go out if they don't.  Eating out for two is way cheaper than taking a family of five.  Staying out late no longer requires finding a babysitter!  However, it is still more expensive to eat out, even for the two of us, so we eat at home a lot...but a lot simpler. We’re Moving Downtown! – Part 1 (the purpose)

We’re Moving Downtown! Countdown to Downtown – Part 1  - The Purpose I’ve always been up for a good adventure.  My best growing-up memories are of family RV vacations.  My parents placed a lot of value on shared experiences, and for us, that meant 7, 8 or sometimes 10 people in an RV, traveling snow-packed roads to ski destinations in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.  It was GREAT fun. Three Best Happy Hour Picks (so far)

Very shortly after we arrived in Austin, someone gave us a great tip.  "Find the best happy hours," they said.  You can eat on the cheap and still get to enjoy a flavorful menu of fantastic foods in some of the best Austin restaurants.  So....we are making our way around the city doing that, but here are three of our very favorite places (so far).  After a productive work day or one weekend when you want to brave the traffic and drive downtown, you might want to check them out (if you haven't already!). W Austin The W Hotel in
